It was the correct part for my 2005 Mercury Montego Premier 3.0 DOHV engine. I just cleaned it up with degreaser before putting in new gaskets and assembly.

Happy with the replacement mirror. It even had the heating element which I wasn't sure about.
The wheel rim was a bit scuffed but cleaned up nicely. Balanced out fine too. Good spare.
